I love to support local business.
I now buy a large portion of my wool from a local Shepherd and dye it
myself to obtain the color combinations I’m looking for in my pieces.
It takes three to four layers of this gorgeous wool to create each sun and moon.
The wool is laid out and the shape and facial features are hand manipulated
with soap and hot water. After it is dried, the final details are applied with a felt
needle.
Hanging these "CELESTIAL" pieces: Each piece is gently wired for the ease of mounting. the wire can be manipulated to create interesting character. Just hang and enjoy.

Each felt piece is an original one of a kind. Size and color will vary slightly.
Care instructions:
To enjoy the vibrant colors and facial expression for years to come, keep
your Sun or Moon out of direct sunlight, and take care not to rub or pull
on the facial features.

I have not named them, since I feel they need to speak directly to their
owner. Let each one speak to you, and you will find the name that is
